Redefining who we are

Freshly back from a month in India and I must admit I’m reluctant to jump back into the noise of connectivity, but with a very potent solar eclipse happening overnight tonight (Tuesday), I couldn’t stay silent. If ever there was a time to focus on your spiritual journey, this is it!

This is a South-Node eclipse, which means that there is a strong likelihood of letting go of something or saying goodbye to someone, metaphorically or literally, with the potential to free us up for a forward leap into a better alignment with our life’s purpose. This eclipse challenges our cherished core values, dreams and delusions. Its influence is going to redefine who and how we are at this point in our life.

You can participate actively in co-creating the next six months (and well beyond that!) by examining where you have been hanging on to old ways of seeing yourself, or old dreams that have lost their meaning, or old beliefs that are now being shown to be false – which, deep down, you already know. It’s time to move on! If you want to set intentions for the next 6 months (or to set up a new pattern in your life), then the best period for imagining and reflection will be on March 11th in the morning or evening. Find some time to listen to your deeper wisdom and surrender to the guidance you feel (hint: it usually doesn’t sound easy or comfortable!).

A new 19-year cycle is beginning here, freeing us up to re-shape our identity and life – what was happening in your life in March 1997, the last time there was a solar eclipse in this degree of Pisces? What resonates in your life between today and 19 years ago – was there a major new beginning, or ending? How can you release or upgrade that? This also recalls the energy of last September’s eclipse – what was up for you then, and how does it relate to you now?

The worldly mess that appears around us is the result of the strong and stubborn (collective and individual) clinging to a false sense of reality. Where can you be more flexible in your ideas, beliefs and behaviour? Where have you been deceived, either by others or by your own avoidance of the truth?

Those who have been following me for a while will remember that we are in the middle of a challenging phase of revolutionary change, a shift in consciousness and society akin to the decade before the French Revolution, and the years between 1928 and 1935, inter alia. This is only the beginning of a longer period of change – Would anyone have believed ten years ago that fascism/racism/militarised governments and demagoguery would take over in major alleged democracies around the world? Those who did were discredited as crazy “conspiracy theorists” by the powers who knew what the stakes were. Welcome to the Uranus-Pluto upheaval of this defining period of our lives! What kind of revolution do you want to see – one based on separation and fear, or one based on cooperation and love?

While this energy will affect many people and society as a whole (if not felt clearly now, then it will be noticed as a pivotal time in retrospect), those of us born between October 1965 and August 1967 will undoubtedly experience new beginnings in more than one area of life (depending on where Pisces/Virgo/Sagittarius/Aries falls in your natal chart).  Trust life, trust the intuitive guidance, and move forward with grace – shine on, you crazy diamond! Let it roll! 😉

There is so much more to say, but this is the essence: dig deep to find out what stops you from opening up to your inner truth and divinity. Trust the divine timing of all things, let go of the fear-based notion that things are not going “your” way. Yoga teaches us to become Self-aware, in the most radical sense, and to accept the foibles of the little self, detaching from the delusion of being special (better or worse – it’s all the same mistake) that leads to separation and fear.

Get in touch for a consultation if you would like to know more about your personal astrology, and please help support me and those around you by letting people know what I do. What an amazing world we would live in if more people understood themselves and their place in it!

Much love and un-eclipsed light,

Susan
